This master´s thesis deals with optimalization of procedures in production company using modern methods. Describing actual status of inventory management with focus on purchasing department, inventory movements, stocking and planning. Thesis solve problem by introducing Kanban system in field of inventory management, ABC analysis and evaluation of suppliers in the area of purchasing. The purpose of the master´s thesis is to submit suitable solutions, which can improve existing processes in inventory management and purchases.

The bachelor thesis is focused on study of contract award in selected business company. In my thesis I deal with a therotical part first. Then I introduce company LX servis Group s.r.o. and I analyze it. After getting necessary informations I suggest improvements to raise kvality of offered services, to curtailment time of realization and reduce costs.

A part of the thesis is also an analysis of inventory categories from several different aspects. The purpose of the master’s thesis is to submit suitable suggestions of how to improve existing inventory management processes.

The solution proposal describes the project, which contains two stages. In first stage is done suppliers evaluation of company and second stage describes suggestion of EDI communication. These stages of project are designed to optimize the order processing in the company Böhm Jihlava in economic terms of time, quality and costs.

Optimalizace výroby ve strojírenském podniku

The diploma thesis is focused on the production process in custom oriented production according to business-economic criteria, these are the individual components of production costs, production capacity and the completion date. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to design an optimal production process and to create a mathematical model of the optimization problem. Based on the resulting analyses, a comparison of the new model with the existing one is made and recommendations for the analysed company are performed. The result of this work can be used as a general tool for production optimization for industrial companies operating in custom production. Most of the data used in this work was obtained from the enterprise system, or. by observing and recording the measured values, the data was further evaluated using the Excel spreadsheet.
